The new Custom Shop line of microphones, with rare vacuum tubes and capsules, are customized versions of the current product line. The new Limited Edition ELA M 251AC features the rare NOS TELEFUNKEN AC701 vacuum tube, which has been out of production since 1980, complete with a newly manufactured CK12 capsule. The Limited Edition U 47VC includes a newly manufactured PVC-tensioned, gold sputtered M7 capsule and a VF-14k vacuum tube. The ELA M 270 offers the same exceptional sonic performance as the ELA M 251E in a stereo package, perfectly suited for XY, M/S, or Blumlein techniques.
