Telefunken | USA is now making microphone
packages available for rental direct from our
lab. Two packages have been created: one based
around the Ela M 251E and a matched pair
of AK47s, and the other around the legendary
U47 M with VF14 tube and a matched pair
of M16MkIIs.
Each package is based around a distinct
vocal mic. The Ela M 251 is ideal for all voices
and features our CK12 capsule and NOS 6072a tube.
The darker and rich sounding AK47s are offered
as a contrasting pair, also ideal for vocals or
stereo recording of acoustic guitars or piano.
The U47 M is also ideal for vocals and features
our M7 capsule and VF14K tube. The M16MkIIs are
offered as a contrasting pair and are ideal for
drum overheads or stereo recording of acoustic
guitars and piano.
These packages are ideal for all
engineers and musicians, from industry professionals
to home project studio owners. Each system is
available for rent by the week or by the month
and includes insured shipping to and from your
