Warranty Registration and Transfer
Telefunken USA is pleased to announce the upgrade to our current warranty package. All warranties are now fully transferable between owners for the length specified for each series. To register your warranty, please fill out the Warranty Registration and Transfer form. In the case of a transferred warranty, please be sure to include the name and date of where and when the microphone was purchased. Factory Restoration Services
Telefunken is proud to offer historic restoration services
to owners of CK-12 capsule based microphones systems. Services
include:
- Complete capsule restoration and or replacement.
- Switch housing restoration and or replacement.
- Internal electronic restoration and or replacement.
- Power supply restoration and or replacement.
- Cable restoration and or replacement.
- Cosmetic parts.
Telefunken USA can also provide service to other vintage
microphone systems such as the C-12 and U47, but please contact
us first to discuss required service.
Appraisal Services for New or
Vintage Microphone Systems
Appraisal services are done at Telefunken by in-house specialists
and include full documentation suitable for insurance claims
or other legal concerns.
Terms of Service
If your microphone system needs maintenance, contact Telefunken
USA to discuss your restoration/repair needs.
Should your microphone system need factory service, you will
be assigned an RMA (return merchandise authorization) number.
Write this RMA number on the outside of the box before shipping
unit an authorized service center.
Write a brief description of the service to be performed
on your microphone system. Please include the return shipping
address, contact person, phone number and RMA number on this
document. Please sign this document. In signing, you are agreeing
to a $100 estimate fee. All work performed on your microphone
system will be done at an hourly rate of $100 per hour plus
parts and shipping.
When shipping your microphone system to us, please make sure
to insure your microphone with the shipper of your choice,
for full replacement value. Telefunken USA or its authorized
service dealers cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged
goods.
